Schedule Changes/Swaps

Overview

Once the schedule is published, if your game time or date change, please notify the NORTAC Fields Coordinator (Mary Anderson) and me as soon as possible. Changes can have several impacts on referee coverage:

• If time or dates change, your assigned referees may no longer be available, so I may need to remove them from the match and find replacements; the more notice time the better o If you swap times only with another team (but keep the same date/same field), I can often keep the referee crews in place and just change the teams assigned to each time slot.  However, I need to know so the referees are aware and looking for the right teams.
• If you swap times but with a different age group (even on the same field and date), this can also cause referee cancellations. For example if a U14 and U19 team swap times, the referees assigned to the U14 match may not be old enough to referee the U19 match, and the referees who wanted the U19 match (because it pays more) may not want to take the U14 match.
• In general, if you have a change, feel free to NORTAC assignor as soon as you know so we can ensure referee coverage is maintained.
