Congratulations to Sparta B09 head coach, Scott Nelson, on the completion of his Football Association of Wales UEFA-B License
Coach Scott became eligible for the course after earning the FAW Grassroots and FAW C Certificates the previous year. He went to Wales for an intensive 6-day course held at the Colliers Park National Development Centre in Wrexham, Wales.
The course was designed for foreign-based candidates and featured round-the-clock soccer. Candidates had to pass three on-site practical assessments and then return home and complete the distance learning portion of the course, a process which took several months. The FAW UEFA-B license was conferred in December, 2022.
Coach Scott has now undertaken coaching education in 4 different countries:

  • USA – USSF National C and Youth licenses, United Soccer Coaches Advanced National license
  • Austria – National Youth and Adult coaching licenses
  • Spain – MBP School of Coaches Expert in youth soccer and Scouting and Analysis certifications
