Kids that work on dribbling the ball between team sessions will get better at the (execution) part of their football actions. Playgrounds offer the chance to get creative with challenges and movements that replicate dribbling in the real game.

See if your player can come up with these challenges as much as possible to maximize their motivation. Incorporate changes in direction and speeds with different surfaces and parts of the feet (no two football actions are ever exactly the same).

Celebrate successes and benchmarks through video review on a phone. And if you post them, tag us!  You could also try these movements yourself and let your kid be your coach!

Small exposures add up. Have fun !
