Practice Fields - Update 5/30/2013
Open Practice Fields
U11 & Below Recreational Teams: Nortac does not do any central booking of practice fields for younger teams due to the wide availability of practice space at local schools and parks. Coaches or team managers are encouraged to use Metro Parks fields on a "first come, first served" basis, or to reserve time at Tacoma School District elementary school fields by going to the specific school office.
The following Metro Parks fields are open on a first come, first served basis.

- · Kandle Park - N 26th St at N Shirley St
- · Vassault Park
- · Optimist Park
- · Baltimore Park
The following Tacoma School District fields may be reserved by going directly to the individual school office, or used on a first come, first served basis.

- · Geiger Elementary School
- · Jefferson Elementary School
- · Point Defiance Elementary School
- · Sherman Elementary School
- · Skyline Elementary School
- · Truman Middle School
- · Professional Development Center
Reserved Practice Fields
Select (Sparta) and U12 & Above Recreational Teams: Nortac Reserves times at 3 primary fields for our older and competitive teams.
Synthetic turf fields (Mason and Jason Lee) can be rented for a fee of $15 per 90-minute session. Teams are restricted to one time slot per week on synthetic turf.
Gonyea Boys and Girls Club is reserved at no cost.
Available time slots at all fields are Mon - Thurs from either 5:00 - 6:30 pm or 6:30 - 8:00 pm
Practice time reservations for Sparta teams should be made to Brian Jennings at email@example.com. Practice time reservation requests for non-Sparta teams should be made to Mike Rivers, VP of Competition, at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling/texting (253) 686-6074.
Requests must include
- · Team name
- · Coach name
- · Team gender and age group
- · Days/times requested
The following fields are restricted in 2013 because they are Nortac game fields or because they are off limits by the Tacoma School District or Metro Parks for maintenance or groundskeeping.
