Dave Whitesell lived in Germany as a young child then moved to the Northwest. He played varsity soccer at Curtis high school earning All league honors. He was recruited to play college soccer at multiple schools. Taking some time to figure things out, he played starting keeper for the TCC Titans earning All league honors. He then walked on and made the team at University of Washington. Getting a chance to be the main keeper and earn a full ride scholarship, he transferred to Huntingdon college, Alabama. He attempted to go to the pro ranks but nothing substantial transpired. He ran the premiere soccer program for the YMCA of Pierce county and was the general manager of the Tacoma soccer center for the past 6 years. Dave has privately coached numerous young people. He is also a co-owner/ director with J4K- Washington, one of the only premiere level goalkeeper academies in the northwest. Dave is an E licensed coach.
